We could literally burst with excitement about this post. The much-anticipated launch left us in a real pickle about what we were going to order but we finally decided. Here’s what we chose and what our first impressions are!
Unfortunately, most of the collection is now sold out however some bits are still in stock so it’s definitely worth checking it out (click here to shop it)
The Cross Back Sports Bra
I ordered the Dusk Blue (size XS) and Hannah ordered the Dark Olive (size S). The thickness of the fabric is great and makes it feel a really good quality. The band around the bottom fits snug and the cups are really secure. The XS is quite a bit more ‘booby’ and gives you a good cleavage but I think it’s really flattering. It comes with small pads inside the cups which are removable which is a nice touch and gives you a bit more security.
The Dynamic Leggings
Again, I ordered them in the Dusk Blue and Hannah ordered the Dark Olive. The colours have been really flattering to our skin tones and look great. We both ordered an Extra Small in the leggings as I am always an XS and Hannah borders on an XS/S and on the recommendation of the Gymshark Athletes, sized down to the XS.
I must say I was really skeptical about how these leggings were going to fit with a lot of the Gymshark Girls saying they sized down, I knew they were going to run a bit bigger and I struggle with being really slight around the hip/ass area. I must say though, I am pleasantly surprised. They aren’t too big, they fit really well and are really comfortable.
The waistband around the top fits really comfortably and the way it sits on the waist highlights your abs and gives you a nice waist which really works in my favour.
The fabric is a bit like that of the Dreamy leggings but softer. They feel really luxurious and I really cannot say enough good things about them.
Whilst the entire collection was priced a bit higher than most of the other garments on the Gymshark website, I personally think it was worth it as the quality is impressive.
The Drop Back Crop Top
This was something that Hannah wasn’t too sure she was going to order at first however I am a total sucker for tops like this. Additionally, the fact that it matches the back of the sports bra totally sold it to me.
The fabric is really soft and flattering and a really good quality.
The price was up there at £40 and I do think this is verging on too much but we both fell for the hype anyway and are totally in love. Because they were that little bit more expensive, I also opted for a more neutral colour of grey so that I could wear it with other outfits too. Hannah also went down the same road and ordered the blush marl.
A perk of this crop top is also that it would probably work nicely over the Elite Sports Bra (reviewed last week, click here to check it out), as well as any other sports bra with a funky back that you wanted to show off.
We are so impressed and feel super swanky in our complete outfits that match. The quality is impeccable and the design and fit of the garments is top notch so massive congratulations to Nikki for designing such an awesome second collection.
We hope you enjoyed this post and we’d love to hear if you managed to get your hands on any items of the collection. Check out more pictures on our Instagram @jaynejaneblog_
