I’m sure all girls do this but I’m a massive dreamer when it comes to spending money. I love spending before the money’s even in my account and this is because I have endless wish lists of products that I cannot wait to buy. This isn’t because I like to replace things that I run out of, just because I’m a massive cosmetic junkie and have drawers full of stuff from cleansers to mascaras.
Hannah and I have decided to split our wish lists up (as they are so long!) and so I thought it would be fun to share my beauty wish list. This way I can look back at the end of the year to see if my impulse buying nature got the better of me or if I actually managed to stick to the list and buy everything on it (it’s not easy living the student-budget life when you’re a princess like myself!)
For those of you that love the more expensive products or for those that are just nosey, I will try to link everything for you.
I’m starting to get a bit more into the luxury skin care market and I just LOVE oils. I love the feeling of slathering your skin and feelings so incredibly hydrated and soft. I’ve had my eye on this oil for a little while now because I have been using a cheaper alternative and I think my skin has become immune to it because it doesn’t seem to have the same effects as it did when I first bought it (I can’t be the only one this happens to!)
The hype around this product has been unreal and considering it has been in almost everyone’s Best of 2016 collections, I am desperate to try it out. I’m a massive concealer hoarder, I currently have 12 in my drawer at the moment and so I know that I need to use up a few before I start buying anymore (just kidding, I’m not that practical, the real reason is that I don’t have any more space in my drawer!) I also need to find out where I can find this product as I live in the UK so I may have to take a trip up to London to the new Sephora in the near future to see if I can find it in there.
I’ve heard quite a bit about this foundation and it’s infamous staying power so I’m just so intrigued. I’ve not had an Urban Decay foundation before. I love foundations that are full coverage, reduce shine as much as possible and have a relatively matte finish and I know this is exactly what it offers.
I’ve had this cleansing balm before and it has been my total favourite so far. I love how it turns into an oil and removes every single bit of makeup whilst also leaving the skin feeling soft and nourished.
My mum recently bought this for herself in a gift set (yes, a gift for herself!) and let me try it. I immediately fell in love! It’s quite an oily texture on the lips but I loved it, it wasn’t sticky or ‘claggy’ and felt like it was actually doing something productive.
I have so many bronzers but they are all matte and there’s something about the packaging and everything for this product that just makes me want to try it. I think this will be especially lovely for the summer when you want that ‘summer glow’. I also think that the colour will be perfect for my skin as I am naturally quite pale and I don’t think it will be too dark or muddy like a lot of bronzers are for me
The hype on the internet around this product has just left me curious. I really like Origins as a brand as they stand by really natural values and I like that. I don’t think I am yet to find the moisturiser that is perfect for my skin and I don’t think I’m going to settle for anything below perfect. Really curious to give this one a try.
I love the everything about Charlotte Tilbury’s brand and I am so curious to try her products. The packaging is absolutely to-die-for and there’s something really special about her brand. I am looking for a cool toned blush that gives a natural everyday flush to the cheeks and I’m certain she has the perfect one for my skin.
So last year I bit the bullet and did a Space.NK order for this but when my package came, it turned out I had been an idiot and ordered the wrong colour! I was so annoyed and sent it back but never got around to re-ordering it. I love the finish that this product gives and the fact that you can build it up or have a really sheer glow. The formula of the Cover FX custom products blows my mind and makes me so curious to see if they really are worth the hype.
Holy moly I love this powder so much and Hannah said she’d love to try it. I used it for baking under my eyes and loved it so much that I actually repurchased it once. The only bad thing about it is that because it’s quite pricey, it hurts a little bit brushing off all the excess after baking and wasting all the product. Because that factor bothered me I’ve since found cheaper alternatives. Let me know if you’d like to see a post on that!
The hype surrounding this mascara makes it irresistable. Even though I’m happy with the mascara I have at the moment, I can’t help but wonder what else is out there and considering so many people love it, it makes me really want to try it. Not to mention, the packaging is gorgeous.
It probably won’t surprise you but I’m a real mask junkie, I love trying out new ones and seeing if they really live up to their claims. I’m coming to the end of my teenage years now but I still love clay/charcoal masks because of their detoxing properties so I would love to try this one and see if it’s as good as everyone says.
If the packaging isn’t enough to make you want this product then I don’t know what will. Whilst a blinding highlight is great for nights out and all that, I don’t think you can beat a subtle, everyday highlight and this is exactly what these are. I even know of people that use them as face powders in the summer to give their skin that extra ‘glow’.
So there we are, my beauty wish list. It’s quite hefty and will leave me completely broke if I order it all at once so over the next year or so I am going to treat myself. I mean, it would be rude not to try!
