Oribé Dry Texturising Spray

Oribé Dry Texturising Spray

Birchbox really came through this month! I had been wanted the Oribé Dry Texturising Spray for a while. I had heard so much about it. So carry on reading to see what I think…

I love this because…

Personally, I am such a hater of dry shampoo. Yes I know don’t shoot me down. It just does not work for me. I can feel it in my hair the whole day and it is just such a massive no from me! So this really is the answer to all my prayers. I love the idea of dry shampoo. I mean what is there not to love, clean hair without actually having to wash your hair! So, the Oribé Dry Texturising Spray brings in what I love from the idea dry shampoo without all the things I don’t like.

First off, I should mention that this is not a actual dry shampoo it is a texturising spray but you can use it as a dry shampoo.

I am obsessed with the smell! Yum! This does not smell like any dry shampoo. To me this smells like holiday. So nice. Also there is no white cast with this. I think there is nothing worse than a white cast. This does absorb the oil. I like to use it after I have been to the gym or when I simply don’t feel like washing my hair. It makes my hair feel so clean. I never felt like my hair felt clean with dry shampoo. It looked clean but my hair always would feel still unclean. No more with this. I really love it.

This doesn’t have to be used as a dry shampoo, although it works so well as one! As it is a texturising spray. It gives volume without being crunchy or crispy. It gives a lovely natural volume look. I really want to try this with curled hair. I can imagine that it will give beachy waves a volumised undone look (I will give updates on this on our Instagram).

Is there anything I don’t like?..

Well honestly, not really. When it comes to the formula, there really is nothing to hate on. The packaging is also so pretty, so no hate there either! There is however a massive but… The price. Oh my this stuff is expensive! £41 for 300ml. Is that a joke? So expensive. You could buy a life time of Batiste for that much. But do I think that it is worth it? Would I recommend. Honestly, I am going to have to say yes. I really like this stuff. If you are someone that doesn’t get on with dry shampoo this is a must. Maybe go for a travel size to test it out before you jump in with the whole £41 to make sure you love it first!

Thats it from me…

Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed this little review, or should I say praise of the Oribé Dry Texturising Spray. Let me know if you have tried this or now want to try this in the comments below.
