Holy Grail: Highlighters

And, we’re back. We had a break last week because things got a bit busy blah blah and we’re currently in the process of a blog redesign so you may need to bear with (the reason why tonight’s post is late!)

This week’s post covers our top 3 highlighters. Enjoy!

Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops

The colour of these is perfect (I have the colour …) and the way they blend into the skin is so natural but super glowy at the same time. I like to either mix them into my foundation or use them alone and blend them on top of my foundation with a beauty sponge. They also work as a good base for other powder highlighters to sit on top of.

Bobbi Brown Highlighting Powder

This colour is actually limited edition so you’ll be lucky to find this exact one now but the formula is like butter. It’s incredible and is an essential to all you highlighter junkies out there! However is a more natural finish so isn’t blinding but more appropriate for the everyday look despite being rose gold.

Becca X Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop

If you’re looking for a blinding highlighter, look no further haha! If you’re super pale it may not be the right colour for you but you will definitely find something within the range that does because the formula is super silky and blends beautifully. It doesn’t emphasise texture which is always a plus! So if you have heard the hype you can take it from us that it is worth it!

Benefit Watts Up

This is one of the first highlighting product that hit the market and was definitely the first I owned. The hype has died down but this remains a favourite. As this is a cream product it has to go on before powder. This is my only issue with this as I always forget to put it on because I am so used to putting on my highlighter towards the end of my makeup. However, when I manage to remember to use this it is so worth it. It gives a lovely subtle highlight that makes you look beautifully, naturally lit from within. What more could you want!

Hope you enjoyed, see you again next week!
