Holy Grail: Blusher

You guessed it, here are some more of our favourite products. This time it is blushers; enjoy!

Nars – Madly

I purchased this on ASOS with one of the vouchers you get when you spend too much money. So I was already happy that I got a bargain. This blusher has a really lovely formula which goes on so easily and blends out really well too. But what I love most is the colour as it is such a nude colour that looks really natural. I love how it looks with a bronzey look. Also, I would say that you get quite good value for money as the pan is massive. Talking of the packaging, I think that it is amazing.

Beauty Pie – Peach Dreams

After signing up to the Beauty Pie subscription, the blushers were something we both wanted to try out and they’re such a good price, it’s difficult to say no! The texture of this blush is really smooth and gives a really natural flush to the cheeks. It’s got no noticeable shimmer to it which I really like because shimmer is something I like to control and keep to the tops of my cheekbones because I suffer with rather oily skin. It has a decent amount of colour pay off and is definitely buildable and I really like that because an overpowering blush has the potential of ruining your whole face.

Bare Minerals – The Aphrodisiac

I randomly acquired this blush from a friend who has a much darker skin tone than me because it just didn’t show up on her and so for ages, this was the only blusher I used. I love love love the colour and it’s quite a hard texture so isn’t super overpowering on the face which gives it a really natural finish. There’s no shimmer throughout the product however it gives a really natural glow and I always go back to it. Whilst there are cheaper alternatives to this product, I definitely would recommend it, especially if you’re looking for THE blush for your collection. Only criticism is that the area for the little brush that came with the product is a waste of space and I’d love more product instead.

I seriously need to start getting into blushers more — I’m walking around looking pale most of the time and it’s not a very good look for me lol. Great post!
